I received this lens with a camera setup I bought from a fellow TB'er - it's a fantastic lens but it won't autofocus with the particular camera body I own. It's a Nikkor AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6G lens, which means some serious telephoto action. It lets you get right up close and really see what's going on, and it's very sharp and clear even at full zoom.
I've been using it for several months as manual focus only, and while that works OK I decided to step up to a lens that I can use as auto focus. This lens would be perfect for someone with a D70, D50, etc. as long as the body has the AF motor internally. My D40 requires an AF-S or AF-I lens with the focus motor in the lens. If I could AF this lens, I would not consider selling it.

Includes the hood and a Quantaray UV filter.

Asking $100 shipped CONUS. International is cool, but you pay shipping. I don't have the original box but I do have another Nikon lens box that fits perfectly. PayPal OK, no trades please.
