I'm interested in the 55-200mm lens (with the filter). Would you consider selling it separately?

Hi Yem, at this time, I'd like to keep the package together as is. If that changes, I'll definitely contact you. Thanks.

I'd love to pull the trigger on this deal.

I'm just trying to figure out how to afford it.

The D40 has 6.1MP, which is plenty for everything except blowing up photos for large prints.

Don't let the low megapixel count deter you. This camera will blow your 12mp point and shoot out of the water with even the standard lens. This is a great dslr. I love mine.

DPReview is a wonderful resource for that kind of information, gruuv.

A lot like basses, it comes down to personal preference and what you want/need from the body. Keep in mind, typically when you set yourself on a brand, you live with that decision for a long time. Even though it's likely you'll change bodies, the glass is where the investment is, and it is a big one - not easy to change systems, typically.

I don't see a case to hold everything. Do you have the original boxes, or is there a case?

Funny you should ask. My wife and I just found a Tamrac Velocity 7x in our closet that I'll include for $25. It'll hold everything comfortably, and is great for walking and shooting. Right now, everything listed in the original post is a package, but the Tamrac can be included or not, per the buyer's interest.

Here's a link for the bag: The Official Tamrac Homepage - The leading manufacturer and distributor of camera, photography and camcorder bags
