I ordered these as a recording kit for a home studio that is on hold for now. I've owned these for over two years and they've been stored in my daughter's nursery, heated and humidified. They have never been played other than some initial sticking to check them out. If you've never played 4 ply drums you're missing out, just a much more dynamic, detailed tone and ideal for recording or any mic'd situation. These are 100% issue free NEW drums and you will not find anything like these in a Guitar Center. Masters Premium MMP 4-Ply Maple in #126 EMERALD MIST, took 4 months wait to get these drums as they are not "off the shelf" drums.
