Peavey Reactor Telecaster U.S.

Sign in to disble this ad
Peavey Reactor Guitar, their version of a Telecaster. Tobacco Sunburst, Tort Guard, Rosewood board. I'm not positive, but the body appears to be Ash. Pickups are Blade type Humbuckers. The guy I bought it from said the neck pickup is wired as a single coil, but can be re-wired for dual coil. Has a few dings and scratches, but overall in nice shape. Minimal fretwear. Plays and sounds great, has an amazing clean tone- but rocks hard distorted too. As nice as ANY U.S. Fender Tele I've ever played. Comes in a cheap, but effective gig bag. $225.00 Shipped ConUS. Paypal only.

UPDATE- I've done a little redearch on this guitar and it is an AX model, which is a deluxe version of the standard Reactor guitar. The body is definitely Ash, and the Rosewood board, pickups and tuners are all upgrades over a standard model.

Yeah- I was asking MNAirhead about his... I think the standard Reactors are in that price range. This is an AX- so it has the humbucker pups, Ash body, Rosewood board option, and better tuners than the standard. The standards came only in an all Maple neck with a Poplar body. Admittedly, I don't know much about these guitars, but I downloaded manuals for both in an attempt to educate myself a bit. I am willing to be flexible. This one seems to be a lot nicer than a standard Reactor.

Oh, okay. That makes sense--sorry, I didn't realize there were different models.

You said you needed to sell this guitar in order to get a bass amp. Would you consider a trade for a bass amp? Either straight trade or some cash either way? At the moment, I have several amp heads and a combo that I could spare (and I would kind of like to get my hands on one of those old Peavey guitars) but perhaps you had something specific in mind.
