I've got an issue of Bassics from June/July 1999 featuring the greatest rock bassist that's ever lived, Billy Sheehan (hey... my ad, my description!)
This was written during the recording of Niacin's third CD and just after Paul Gilbert quit Mr. Big. It also goes into a lot of detail about the new (at the time) Ampeg SVP-BSP preamp. Lots of great old photos, too.
