It's a 1996 GMC Jimmy 4wd automatic 4 door. 144,000 miles. It's in phenomenal condition except for one problem... the lock on the torque converter doesn't work. It's gone bad and is about a $1000 fix if you can't live with it up/down shifting on the highway. It will cost you some gas mileage and I wouldn't recommend going over 40 mph for long as it'd put undue wear on the trans. (Full disclosure of course!)
I've got close to $4000 in repair work it. I can provide receipts. Engine is great. Trans was rebuilt at 110,000. We changed all the fluids in the car, no joke. Differential, transmission, transfer case, oil, steering, brake, etc. The shocks are brand new. The bearings and steering were thoroughly worked on. (I don't recall what was done, but the steering was rough and was fully repaired!) Brakes and lines were totally replaced. It's ready for another 100,000 miles but I can't drop another dime into it. All professionally done. When I said we did this or that, I mean our mechanic did it.
Pics to come very soon when I find them on the PC. Interior is GREAT. Exterior has a couple of scuffs on the corners from poor parallel parkers, but otherwise is great. Almost no scratches or dents. No bubbling, clear coat is in good condition. The frame only has minor surface rust beginning to develop. It'll outlast the car.
$1500 obo.
I'll trade for really cool bass or guitar stuff. $1500 and it's yours. I'm located in Columbus, Ohio and regularly travel to Dayton, Ohio where the car currently is.
