I got this in a trade and used it maybe five times. Works great! It was fun to play with. I'm just not into recording, much.

It was new in the box when I got it--never opened. Comes with all software, the cable and the original box.

Could you use this to plug your bass into your computer and then record and manipulate the sounds/tracks?

Yes. This allows you to plug 2 guitars (bass or other) at a time, two mics at a time, or a guitar and a mic at the same time, into your computer. It accepts mics that need phantom power, as well as ones that don't. It's a pretty cool box. The software allows you to manipulate the tracks.

Just looked on eVil Bay to see what they're going for. I'll keep it, instead of losing that much on it.
