I have a true treat for lovers of this fine marque. This is a true vintage 1987 CBR1000 Hurricane, purchased from the original owner after only traveling 7K + miles on her. Being a 25 + year veteran motorcycle tech I decided I had to buy her and make it truly a treat for some lucky owner.
I performed the following....
New Yuasa Battery.
New Bridgestone Tires.
New Front Brake Pads.
New OEM fork Seals and Oil.
Rebuilt and Synced Carburetors.
New OEM Fuel Pump and Fuel Line.
New OEM Air Filter.
New OEM Oil Filter and Motul 10-40 Oil.
Bar Switch Contacts Cleaned.
Charing System Checked and Found To Be in Good Working Order.
All these items where preformed by me over the last few months. I have put approximately 200 miles on the bike since completion just to make sure everything works as it should. I have the original sales contract and original Hurricane Helmet (I would not wear it because of its age). These also go with the bike.
Bike is worth around $2500.00 or so
