WTT: Turser paisley tele for beat-up P-bass

Sign in to disble this ad
I got this Jay Turser paisley Telecaster clone in a trade deal a while back, thinking I would actually play it. Turns out it's collected dust since about day 3. Needs a good setup - there's some buzzing above the 12th fret - and the strings are due for replacement, but it comes with a handy-dandy tuner strap and gig bag to make up for it.

I'm looking for a Fender MIM/Squier/SX Precision or Jazz bass, or OLP Stingray. Doesn't matter if it's beaten up, in fact, the more beat-up the better, as long as everything works the way it should. Going to be jamming out to some old-school punk and want the P sound.

NO RED basses, and rosewood board preferred, though not necessarily required.

NO short-scale basses - 34" or bust.

Must be a 4-banger.

NO knock-offs - no Johnsons, AXLs, or anything else that doesn't say Fender (unlikely) or Squier on the headstock. SX is a maybe, if it's a good one.

I'd prefer not to ship, but if I don't have any local bites (or a too-good deal happens) then I suppose I'll consider it.

I s'pose I could do $150 shipped CONUS. I'd just turn around and buy a beater with it.
