Ear for Music

Been playing bass around 14 months and still can't learn songs by ear, i can tune to a note without a problem but i can't learn songs at all, anyone with any tips?

Hi,

My recommendation would be to find the best teacher you can find and take lessons.

This will speed up your learning process in a BIG WAY!!!

Also, don't start off trying to learn really hard and complicated tunes. Pick some easy things and work your way up. Make sense??

But I would recommend lessons!

Can't afford lessons get a Tascam Bass Trainer this will allow you to slow down the bass line to learn. I use on when learning new Gospel songs.
