Are you thinking of signing up?? If so, let me know how it works. I'm sure we'd all be interested in learning more.

Cool??? Cool........
Thanks Todd

I was thinking about trying that program. I would dearly love to go for a degree or diploma in music... but at the same time, going back to being a poor student isn't too appealing anymore!

As for needing more information about a particular program - what questions would you ask? What are some "red flags" to watch out for?

So it been a while but i've listened to all the great advice and come September i will be starting a Masters of Music degree in Composition/arranging at UMass Amherst. I am planing on studying upright more but still feel that the 6 string is where my voice is, but i;m thinking that it will be easier to get a teaching gig if i can teach both electric and acoustic bass. next step is to try to get gigging experience as much as possible. anyone got any advice to get more gigs??

Dan

First advice on getting more gigs: Don't live in Amherst.
