Hi Jonathan,

Great to hear from you. I'm glad the DVD is being good to you.

It's a simple technique....once you "totally" understand it.

Take your time....don't be in a hurry...and in 3 - 6 months you won't be able to play the "old way". Keep me posted on your development.

Cool.....

I've been through the DVD now many times. I'll find when I go back to review a particular exercise, Todd had presented a detail or variation that I just did not catch before. I'll warn you up front, Jonathan, the staccato drills are going to be a workout but the right-hand control you gain is incredible.

As you will hear Todd say many times, "go slow", "take your time", etc. Consistent persistence will win the day. And, yeah, the two-finger drills were an eye opener for me as well. I started them with "I should be able to breeze right though this" and quickly progressed to "what in the world is wrong with me?!?"

Take your time.....DO NOT BE IN A HURRY!!!

I still work on this stuff....it's a constant, ongoing process that never ends. It's similar to an athlete staying in shape year round etc.

Keep me posted on your progress!!
