I'm working on section 1b and one thing I didn't notice is any mention of working in all 12 keys. I'm assuming this would be a good thing? My plan is to be comfortable with the 1b material in all 12 keys before going on to section 1c.

Yes...it makes perfect sense. But if you go farther into the video you'll see I have you play things in 12 keys with a demonstration of what to do. THEN... I have you bump up the tempos.
You're welcome to do what you want, but I would highly recommend you get all the variations together in the order I present them....THEN do the 12 key exercises. I've found this to be the most advantageous way to absorb my method.
You're developing "muscle memory"... have patience and allow yourself time to absorb everything.
