My new DVD....

Hi Friends,

I just wanted to drop you all a note:

1. I apologize for not being more active lately.... I've been blessed with an abundance of gigs ....

2. I just finished filming for my "Walking Bass - Volume 2 Scale modules" DVD on Saturday...

3. Look for a mid March release date....

4. Thank you all for your support, encouragement and enthusiasm for my DVD projects....It really means a lot to me.

I'm really looking forward to the new DVD. I'm stilling getting so much out of the first two. Todd, your educational materials totally turned around my playing and deepened my love for the instrument and music in general. Can't thank you enough for that.

Hi Friends,

Well, as you know....We've been editing and working on getting my new walking bass DVD Volume 2 Scale Modules ready.....Well....it's FINALLY done!!!

It's being manufactured as I write this.... DiscMakers tells me that they should arrive on April 6th!!!

Here's some information on Volume 2...

My new "Walking Bass Module System: Volume 2 Scale Modules" DVD will be available in early April 2007! We filmed everything the first week of January and have been busy editing ever since. I’m really excited about this one! We've been able to add some cool graphics and other features that should really help everyone learn this critical information.

Some of the highlights are:

* 4 + 2 fingering system
* Strong beat/weak beat theory
* Walking over major ii-v-i
* Walking over minor ii-v-i
* My "module" approach to incorporating scales into your bass lines
* Learning Dorian, Mixolydian, Major, Aeolian, Locrian and Spanish Dominant Scales

I've also included bass lines, home work assignments and transcriptions for:

* Autumn Leaves
* All the Things You Are
* How High the Moon
* Stella by Starlight

Plus... there was so much material that we couldn't fit it all onto one DVD, so there's almost 25 minutes of downloadable bonus footage.

I leave for Ft. Worth and Denton Texas tomorrow morning and get back on March 30th... I'll be sending out a mass email when I get back to my friends that have already purchased Walking Bass Volume1 or Technique Builders to let them know about the release of Volume 2.

I'll also be able to take "pre-arrival" orders...so when they get here I can just pop 'em in a mailer and get them off to people ASAP. We'll also have "pre-arrival" order info on my website as well.

I don't know what you have planned for next one after this, but would like to put my vote in for something on 6-string bass playing. There is so little available on 6-string and its a big topic both technique-wise and musically.

In mean time I will get my pre-order in for your new one.
