I've already started shedding' them, I'm just gonna try and get all the major ii-V-Is under my belt first before I risk overloading myself with the rest of the information and not taking any of it in.
Just on a side note is there any method that helps with memorising/internalising the #9 examples? is there an exercise that helps to develop my minds speed in bringing up the patterns?
Cheers Rayle
Hi Rayle,

Sorry I've been so slow in getting back to you. I've been in Europe and now I'm in New Hampshire. I won't be home until March 20th and internet access has been inconsistent for me....plus I left my laptop at home, so I'm having to borrow computers from friends to get on line.....ANYWAY......

The best way to memorize things it to simply play them 100 times. I know it sounds like a smart-mouthed answer, but it's really true. BE PATIENT. THIS STUFF TAKES TIME!!!! Cool?? Cool.....

Shoot me an email and let me know how things are working out for you. I'll get back to you as soon as I get home. OK??

Cool....I look forward to talking with you soon.

Love the videos

Just a word (or three) about Todd. If he puts out a video - BUY IT. I have been playing jazz piano/keyboards for 10 years. Then I got bored and picked up a bass. Of course, I bumped right into a walking problem. I knew jazz theory. I knew how to read music but I was still stumbling rather than walking. If there is a book on walking out there, I bought it and I still wasn't satisfied. Then I ordered Vol 1 and 2. Bang. I was a walking fool. I even tipped my hat to one side. I was just making it to complicated before.

You just can't go wrong with these videos or this man. Todd even personally called me on the phone to make sure my order was right.

Thanks Todd for everything. I stll prefer Chicken over an Elephant <smile> but I am enjoying the music food.

Can't wait for the 6 string chord method DVD.

After several months of using the Building Technique DVD and listening to Friday Night I am now moving on to the Walking Bass Module DVDs 1&2. The spider was killing me. I got it now. Can't wait to see them in the mail.

Thanx Todd... you are a blessing!
If you know Tom Ranier or Bruce Healey please tell them I think of them often. They are old school buddies in your neck of the woods. Both great musicians.
