Wow Todd,

I thought I was the only person you told to "play slow"..... I guess I must have missed the "Have Fun" part of the advice. I'm definitely "learning/improving really, really slow" I hope that counts? I'm really glad that you came out with books to accompany your DVD's it make it easier for us "Old Guys" to keep up without wearing out the pause button on our DVD players..

I hope all is well with you and your family!!!

Hi Derrell,

Glad you're seeing the improvement...just hang in there. Keep plugging away at it. I'm glad the books are beneficial. It really does help having the books. Absolutely!!

BTW, I tell everybody to "Play Slow".....Ha! It's easier to hear mistakes that way!! Which ultimately means you can fix your mistakes once you hear them....so hence the term "PLAY SLOW"...

Plus I can't play fast anyway.....

Have fun my friend!

I just gotta say, I think I've found "the" one in the ZON TJ model. I bought a fretless from Atlanta Bass Gallery a few months ago, then I was able to lay my hands on Mike Dimin's fretted bass in June. Following that, Planet Bass has this beauty in stock. After a month of 'greasing the skids' with my "accountant", I was able to nab it. I gigged it for the first time on Friday, and it cut through like a champ.
