Strap question

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi Todd,

This might be a funny question but I was wondering if you could recommend a strap. I'm having trouble getting one that is short enough. They seem to all be built for the rock star who wears the bass around their knees. The shortest I can get it is about 38" (and that's with the regular old nylon kind) and it's still not the right height for me. Maybe it's partly due to the bass design, but regardless I was wondering if you know of any that get shorter than 38".

Thanks
Dave

+1

I like a short strap, but being a bigger guy I use the "long" model as it gives me a larger usable range. The bass is still above my waist at all times

Just ordered the short comfort strapp. This looks perfect. I actually have a Brooklyn gear one which looks about identical. Probably the same thing, so this will be good cause I know it's comfortable, and now I'll have the right height. Thanks.

BassJigga,

Man, sorry I'm so slow in getting back to you....but the guys told you EXACTLY what I would have recommended. THE COMFORT STRAP....get the short one and you're in business!!

That's what I use.......

Strapp.

I have been looking into getting a Comfort Strapp but am torn between getting the short (Pro Bass Short 33"-37") or long (Pro Bass Long 38"-45"). Anyone know how exactly the length is measured......is it from the strap holes? I just want to get an idea so I can measure on the strap I am using now.

My personal recommendation would be to get the short one. That's what works best for most folks...unless you're really tall.

Thanks Todd.

That was why I was hesitant. I am 6' 3".

From hole to hole my strap is currently at 41". What are your thoughts?

Erik,

Well, at this point your only option is to just try it. Since you're 6'3", then try the long one....and...if it's too long...then you'll find out. You can always return it and exchange it for a short one. That's what I did.....Make sense???

Play slow!!
