Hi Todd,

I'm writing this quick post to say thank you, thank you, thank you
I have been playing for about 30 yrs but I am new to playing jazz, although I have been listening for several yrs already.

I was made aware of your Walking Bass method through
Jim Stinnett's Creating Jazz Bass line lessons
on International Institute of Bassists website.
Jim and You, teach walking bass lines in a similar manner,
which hit home for me. So a few weeks ago I went out and bought Walking Bass Line Module System - Volume 2 book & DVD.
I have been working with it for a few weeks now, working on the songs already, and I really like the bit-size lessons,
and the way things are organized. You way of teaching really resonates with me.
So I wanted to thank you for organizing such material and teaching it in chunk-size, which seems so simple.

I'm also grateful for you're Jazz GYM series here on talk bass,
I am getting good mileage from it.

I read somewhere on talkbass that you will be releasing a book or DVD on soloing, is this still in the works?
Should we expect it for 2011? If it is anything like Jazz Gym & WBLMS I am buying

There was a mention somewhere about a possible
Walking Bass Line Module System - Volume 3
Is this book Scheduled for release in 2001?

A grateful student
Eric

Hi again Todd,

You rightly deserve it by the look of all the new material you are about to release. I can't wait to get my hands on your new lessons and I can't believe there is so much that will be available at once before the new year.

Thank you for coming up with such great material.
Happy holidays to you too.
All the best
Eric
