Do you do any work with the upright bass, either in performance or in private practice?

Kindofblue....are you asking me?? I assume so since its my forum etc....anyway...

Now...by work do you mean "do I play the upright" etc....????

I used to play the upright...quite seriously for about 7 or 8 years, but finally gave it up to focus on trying to play ONE instrument (6 string electric bass) well....rather than 2 or 3 poorly.

I just didn't have the ability and discipline to play both instruments well. FWIW, I TOTALLY admire guys that can do both well....my hats off to them.

I hope this answers your question.....
