Walking Bass Modules

Hi, Todd. I've been working on your Walking Bass Module Vol. 1 book, and am getting a lot from it so far. On page 21, in the summary for modules 1-10, you talk about internalizing them and "playing each of these modules at least five to ten times through without making a mistake." When you say this, do you just mean playing through the examples? What is it internalizing? The muscle memory, or the understanding of the different modules? Sort of confused.
