One of the versions of "So What" I like a lot is slower, Herbie Hancock. Directions in Music: Live at Massey Hall. Monster band Herbie, Brecker, Hargrove, Patitucci on upright. They run it into Coltrane "Impressions" another classic modal tune for Breckers solo.

Hi Steve!!

I could probably use some caffeinated beverages!!!

Actually, I hit a "writers block" a couple of months ago and have basically needed to "re-charge" the batteries a bit.....

Also....teaching on a DVD is different that teaching someone in a one-on-one setting. I want to make sure that I make these DVD's as "bullet-proof"..... and as thorough/complete as I can. Make sense??

I really appreciate everyones patience.....

Thanks again for your support and encouragement!!

FWIW.....I'm hoping to get the next one filmed this summer sometime.

Play slow!

Stumpy,

Hey, I was just in Sacramento!!!! We'll have to hook up the next time I'm up there.

I work with Jim Martinez quite a bit.....Jim's a great jazz pianist....you can check him out at www.jimmartinez.com

Anyway......

Having confidence in what and how you're playing music is a BIG deal.......

I'm glad I could help!!!
