Zon "Todd Johnson Signature Model"?

Sign in to disble this ad
Todd,

I haven't found a "Todd Johnson Signature Model" on the Zon web site. If there is one, what is the URL to get to the description on the Zon web site?

Other than the ramp, how is your Zon set up? In other words, if I go the "Build Your Own Zon" page, what options do I specify?

Thanks for your reply.

You can order custom hybrids also....such as mine...a fretless 5 sort-of TJ! Joe, Mark & Co. used the TJ body, then applied a 29 position neck, and barts with the mid-switch. Of course with some other personal things such as a thicker neck than normal. I wanted it to feel as much like my Wals as possible!

29 position neck? I thought it was 26.

How is the TJ body different from the regular Sonus body?

Deeper cutaway for high register access. Neck pickup moved closer to bridge pickup.

And overall the body is larger....as Joe said...more real estate.

Normally the neck has 26 positions....at first my fingerboard went all the way to the neck pickup....I then asked for a modification as I like some space between....thus only 29 positions.

A deeper cutaway would be nice. My hand gets a little cramped up in there and could definitely use a little more room.

I'm getting a bad case of Zon GAS. Between Todd, you guys, and my teacher has two Zon's and brings them to my lessons now and then. I really need to win the lottery.
