1844 Tewksbury for Sale 1 Attachment(s) Prescott model, flat backed gamba shaped with hump , joined f-holes, big scroll. Just restored, label, original finish, just added Rob Anzelotti B-extension. Huge sound, plays like butter. FAntastic orchestra bass or jazz bass for a bigger person. I have played it for about 6 months since resto - I love it, but it's just too big for me. UB 22, LB 28, Body 50, overall(including Extension)77. string length just over 42 1/2, e-flat neck. Appraised at $45K, asking $40K. Many pictures available. some at [url]http://www.flickr.com/photos/41253800@N04/sets/72157632973029075/ |

Check it out! |
Looks stellar. A little too big for my tastes, and about $20k out of my price range, but I hope you find a good home for her! |
Thanks, Skyre12, check out some modern basses, some are really good( I hear ones like Hachez are getting up there, though) |

I'm happy to see this. It reaffirms the identity of the Tewksbury I owned. The outline, the arching, the ff's. They're all exactly like mine. I'm curious about the purfling. Would you happen to have a very clear photo of the purfling on the top? I loved my Tewks, an awesome bass. |
purfling just tried- didnt come out so well-- ill try again in daylight-- none of the pictures i put up are very good! |
Thanks so much for the effort |
No go today- next week! But I'll get some better pictures up |
