1940s Juzek for sale, $9,000
 

Fully carved 3/4 size Juzek for sale. $9,000. This bass was made in Germany during the 1940s. I have owned the bass for six years and have replaced the fingerboard, bridge, nut, soundpost, and endpin. Structural repairs have also been made to the neck and heel button. The instrument is great for jazz and it also sounds great when played arco. I prefer a local sale here in Atlanta or in the southeast to a buyer that is willing to pick the instrument up.

those old carved juzeks are very serious basses. i wish i was in the market for a bass.... this looks like a killer.
