For sale: 1942 Kay C-1 bass serial #9839. Sunburst with maple fingerboard. Features include high quality bridge with adjusters, a newer soundpost, and a deluxe endpin. Strung with Thomastik Orchestral gauge Spirocores. The neck has never been broken and the body is in excellent condition. This bass is almost perfect however, the neck requires a reset (probably because the hyde glue is decades old) so this is reflected in my asking price. Asking $2600--no trades.
