3/4 Meisel 8900 plywood, Albany NY area

Not much to say about this one: It's a 3/4 size student ply made in West Germany according to the label. The bass has some dings and dents but is in pretty good condition overall.

Thick and well-dressed ebony board, THICK maple (?) neck. No baseball bat grip on this bass. Self-adjusting bridge with no height adjusters. Shiny varnish. Not too old, probably made in the 1990s. Newish Spiro Weichs going on this weekend. Now strung with Innovation D&G and mystery E&A. Plays well, strong penetrating sound under the bow.

Includes what is probably the original bag and a Glasser French bow with black hair which is also in played but good condition. Asking $1500 $1200 for all delivered, within a reasonable area. Will cut a better deal for a student or rookie bassist.

I'm going to close this thread until I ascertain exactly what this bass is. Despite what the label claims it is, it looks exactly like a Korean-made Knilling I've seen since starting this thread. I'm not comfortable selling something when I'm not exactly sure what the situation is.
