German bass bow, made in Germany stamped ARTIST. Pretty nice player. Just had it cleaned up, rechambered and rehaired. $450 plus actual shipping, Pictures soon. No hassle trials are available for well established members, otherwise I will need to hold the payment while you decide. If you decide not to keep it, you have to pay shipping both ways of course. Could also trade for a nice French bow or maybe even an EUB, let me know what you have.

To the top with pics!
ARTIST German Bow - a set on Flickr
I'm open to trades for bows, basses (upright, eub, electric), strings, you name it but I'm going to be pretty firm on the price, I don't NEED to sell it.

I'll bump this up, I know there's not much of a market for bows right now but I thought I would atleast get some interresting trades :/
Like I said this was just rehaired, cleaned, rechambered and French polished. This is like a new intermediate bow at half the price!

Too hefty for me, but thanks. I think these were German shop bows from the early 20th century and pretty good value for the money.

Thanks, that sounds about right, I have had different sources give me that kind response. Bow feels nice to me but I've always like heavy bows.

Quicky bump, would deinately consider a carbon fiber French bow, +/- cash is fine, if you happen to have a French Ophelia I could definately strike you a trade + $ deal that would be pretty favorable.

PRICE DROP...
For holiday shoppers, I'll drop the price to $425 shipped.
I still remember when I got my first bass bow as a Christmas gift from my parents, one of my favorite bows to this day.

If this bow is still here come January I'll keep it in case I ever need to expand my German technique.

No longer for sale. I am however willing to look into trades at this point so I'll leave this up for trade only. Here are some trade possibilities:
1) French ophelia or finale bow plus $250 with fresh hair or $300 with old hair.
2) French Metropolitan for this bow and electric bass (Ibanez sr405)
3) Would consider trade number 2 for a J R Grugenberger carbon fiber bow or Arcus bow but less likely
4) Also interrested in permenabuco bows, I don' really need one so I'll be picky but if you have a good bow that you would like to trade for this and a collectible vintage electric bass it could be a possibility.
4) Could be interrested in project basses, etc and I have a couple of elecric basses that could be part of a trade but unlikely.

I think we're due for another bump... might try to move this one locally in a couple out weeks but in the mean time still listening for trade bait.
