I'm selling my Azola Ambassador Plus electric upright bass.
This one one of only a handful ever made and with Azola shutting up shop, very rare.
It features a fully-hollow body with bass bar and soundpost like a small double bass.
Top is laminated spruce, sides back and neck are laminated maple with some flame.
Fingerboard is striped ebony.
The pickup is Azola's own with a pre amp featuring bass, mid, treble and volume controls.
The bass has some scratches (pictured) but is in fully functional, great condition.
This is a very high quality, hand-made American bass.
It comes with the Azola soft case and a custom flightcase with castors that I had custom-made in Australia.
I'm after $4,000 Australian Dollars plus postage for the bass, soft case and flight case.

I've played many shows with this bass, but am switching to bass guitar to better suit the more 'rock' direction the band is taking. This bass is probably the best touring solution for any double bassist. It also records very well and has enough acoustic volume for quiet practice.
