Manufactured in the Victorian era (mid to late 1800s), this instrument has a lovely warm tone and excellent playability. There are some old cracks that have formed in the sides of the instrument, I am told that this is very normal for an instrument of this age and does not affect the tone or the stability of construction.
Scale: 42.5” scale (classed as 3/4 scale).
A professional evaluation for insurance purposes through Ifshin violins placed this instrument at $6,000 looking for offers starting at $4,999
This instrument comes with a Fishman BP-100 Upright bass transducer and a professional soft case.
No bow provided.
