I bought this bass in 2007. Had the bass overhauled by Chuck Herin in South Carolina. The bass has an extended fingerboard reaching up to a high G (3 octaves above the open string). Laborie endpin hole was also drilled at a 45 degree angle at Robertson's String Shop. I have used it for solo, orchestral, and jazz performances. I used this bass during my undergrad at the University of South Carolina. This bass got me me into the South Carolina Philharmonic while I was in school and helped me win the USC concerto competition.
I'm asking $11,500 which is around what I paid for it including all of the work done to it. I live right next to UNT in Denton, TX so if you're in the area DFW area and interested please message me.
I really don't want to sell it but I have just purchased a bass far beyond my means and need help paying off the new one. The bass has opened up very nicely and I'm hoping it can go to a new owner that will enjoy it as much as I have.
