Gorgeous early 20th Century German double bass for sale. Likely built between the wars. I have used this to play mainly jazz gigs at country clubs, bars, fine dining restaurants and perform in plays and college orchestras. It was purchased from Rumano Solano (
http://solanobasses.com/) in 2009. It's not a Solano build but it was a trade-in from someone who was purchasing one of his basses. It's in excellent condition and has been set up by Rumano himself. It comes with a soft case. I am only selling it because I'm moving overseas and can't take it with me. It has an absolutely beautiful sound. $7,000 OBO.
