French Bow

For Sale: Unlabeled French Bass Bow. The bow is pernambuco, weighs 144g and is
28 1/4" long. The stick is straight. It has some dings but no real damage and no
repairs. The hair is about three years old but has not seen extensive use. I
purchased the bow new in the late 1980's from Ed Wicks in the Danbury CT area.
Its a fine quality bow that I used as my primary. After a few years of not
playing I've come back playing German instead of French. Only selling because
its not being used. If you are interested in trying the bow I'm located in northeast NJ.
$600 shipped in North America

To me the hair is in descent shape but I also recognize that it's got a few years on it. If it's going to see a lot of playing you'd probably want new hair. Still a very good price for this bow.

French Bow

Well you know how it is with bows. Hard to say without a trial.

I just bought another one I thought would be an improvement but now I'm back to the old standby no-name so-so one.

I like the length of this but might be a bit heavy. Where are you?

Trial

Of course you shouldn't purchase any instrument or bow without spending some time with it first. I'm in Upper Saddle River New Jersey. If you can come by to check out the bow that would be fine. If it's too far to travel we can work out the details for you to do a trial. PM your phone# if you want to proceed and I'll give you a call.
