For sale - 1938 Kay M-1. Recently professionally setup with new bridge, new sensicore steel strings, new adjustable endpin and tailwire, ebony fingerboard plained, and all loose seams glued. Original tuners cleaned and polished. It has a 3-piece neck (ebony stripe) which is very rare and beautiful. Neck has never been broken. This bass has been around and has some delamination around mostly the bottom edges. Most places have pieces of ply spliced back in and colored to match. It is a very solid old bass.
