FS: BSX Electric Upright Bass EUB - 41" scale length - Ebony Fretboard
$800 plus Fedex Ground/Home Delivery Insured Shipping.
I realize I only have 1 positive feedback here on Talkbass, but I have two more pending here for Phil Jones Bass components I just sold. I also have over 1000 feedback rating on the 'bay, all positives (portchicago - user name there). Also, I'm in Chicago (Lincoln Park), so if you are also in the Chicago area, you can set up a time to see/play it in person if you'd like.
BSX 2000E Electric Upright Bass with a scale length of 41" and an ebony fretboard. Ebony board is in outstanding condition. Has Hipshot tuners and the preamp uses a 9V battery. Has a very comfortable adjustable tummy rest to support against your body. Everything works great and sounds awesome! The bass itself weighs 13.5 lbs. It comes with the On-Stage stands padded lighting stand gig bag as shown in the last photo (this is a new bag). This model also has the individual string adjustment pots for volume/level balancing between strings.
I purchased this with the intent of learning upright bass, but I just haven't had the time to learn the transition from bg fretless to upright double bass. I'll try learning DB again in the future when I have more time to take proper lessons and practice. I'm trying to clear out some instruments that I haven't been playing as much to ease the space here at home, so please also check my other listings, including a Fender Custom Shop '64 Jazz bass Relic.
Please let me know if you need me to send you any more photos or need any other info....photos are below:
Bump. Anyone else see photos?
Sorry, first time trying a new way to add photos here versus one at a time. What is the best method for photos that everyone uses? Photobucket?
Here is a slide show of the photos until I get them loaded up here on the site:
Please let me know if this is not the correct way to display the photos here. I'm not sure if having them on here like this from Photobucket screws up the browsing. Thank you
Do those have a 'D' neck?
Sorry Arnold, I just saw your question. Yes, it does have a "D" shaped neck.
Sold to a fellow TBer who is going to have a lot of fun with this EUB!
