FS: Juzek Bass, Great Shape, Chicago
John Juzek carved solid wood bass ca. 1920 with Prague label for sale. 3/4 size with a round back, adjustable bridge, Eb neck and 43" string length. Repaired and set up by Aaron Reiley. This bass has a big, direct sound. It is great for orchestral and jazz playing. The previous owner won a position in the Civic Orchestra of Chicago on this instrument. Also a great solo instrument, and was played in the 2011 ISB Solo Competition Semi-Finals. Appraised price $12,000. Includes Cushy brand soft zip cover in great shape.
