$2000 with Mooradian gig bag and wheel.
I tried to play her again, but it will take too much time and dedication to relearn this great instrument.
pm me for details I am in Connecticut.

| | | | Just out of curiosity, is that an older Juzek or newer? Also, I am very curious about the plywood top and back, carved sides configuration. Is there a story behind that?

I'm not sure. I've been told that it's just like Ron Carter's Juzek, but I know very little about them.

Brett | Think of this as a plywood bass. It was common for some German plys to be built with solid maple ribs. The shop may not have had the molds needed for making the ribs. Ron Carter's Juzek is fully carved. I think this bass is a bit later than the 1930s. I remember it fondly, from back in my gigging days. Big, dark, even and easy to get around. Good luck with the sale, Brett. |

The note on the G string when you hit the heel.
Greg Howard plays tonight at UVA, you should come and bring the bass to Cville so I can check it out | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
