I'm in the process of relocating and I just can't take this bass with me as logistics is a problem. So sadly it has to go before mid-December.
I bought this bass here from a fantastic TB'er Hal about two years ago. Here is the original thread and you can see all the nice pictures Hal took of the bass. Kolstein 7/8 Carved Bass
The only issue is that the bass had a seam developed due to the dryness of New York winter. It was about 3 inches long on the right side of the lower bout (I will take a picture of it). I has it professionally repaired by NYC's respected luthier Tom Kirchner. Tom has also replaced the sound post and did a fantastic set-up of the bass.
For sale price is $2,700. I think it's a reasonable price for a nice fully carved Kolstein bass.
The bass comes with the thick-padded case shown in the original thread. I'll also throw in a Kolstein wheel and maybe a Upton shop German bow.
