Gilles Duhaut bow with case

Gilles Duhaut bow (Atelier DUHAUT a TOURS) for sale. Hardly used, regrettably.

I bought it from George Vance back in '04. I don't have a very accurate gramometer, but the kitchen scale puts it in the ballpark of 135. Selling to raise money for a cross country move

Shipped in bow case from Robertson and Sons.

Asking $1000 shipped (+ paypal).

Hi Ben,

I am interested in the Duhaut. Silver mounted? Length? Shop bow, or one of his?

Sorry guys. Was traveling, but I am back. Also, I had pms turned off, which explains why I didn't get any messages. :/

this is a shop bow as far as I know, hence Atelier Duhaut as the stamp instead of G. Duhaut. I will confirm. As far as I know, bows made by Duhaut directly are priced closer to $3k. If I'm wrong, let me know.

Bow length is 27.5 inches. Hair length is 21.5 inches.

It looks to me like the mount is nickel, since the screw looks more silver.

I bought my from Gilles when he was in town at George's bass camp, made by him $1650. Silver wound, beautiful.
