| Up for sale is an early 80s Hofner ¾ laminate upright with accessories. I’ve owned the bass for a couple years after purchasing it from another talkbasser, Jet Nero. I’ve gigged it numerous times but it looks the same as when I purchased it. It has had some setup work done and an adjustable bridge installed recently by Saul Cornell and is wearing a set of Kolstein Heritage strings. This bass has lower action and plays very easily. It was louder with the Evahs on it but has a great growly tone with the current strings and setup. I’ve really only done jazz gigs with it, but I suspect it would perform well in any situation or as a utility type instrument. Included with the bass is a Kaces gig bag, Ingles bass/cello stand, a stool, music stand, a set of used Evah Pirazzis, an extra bridge, and a Fishman BP100 pickup (no clips, not installed). Really the only reason I am letting this go is because I need the space in a tiny house with roommates. I’m primarily an electric player and now that I’m done with college, upright is no longer my primary instrument. She’s a beauty and I would love to see her go to a good home. More pictures available upon request. Asking $2000 OBO.
More pictures for good measure.
