I am selling a Kay Concert Model Bass. The tag reads: Genuine Kay Bass Viol, Concert Model, No. 613. Thanks to the info of
Jake deVilliers, the bass might be from the first year of production (1937).
The instrument needs some repairs: The body has no cracks but scratches. The squirrel needs to be re-glued, not a big job. There is currently no bridge installed.
Asking Price is $2500. The instrument can be inspected in my recording studio in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY.
