Largish 3/4 or 7/8 with a powerful and even sound. Violin corners. No label or papers. Long string length, but most people find it easy to play. It's been refinished at some point. Setup with Spirocore Weichs and plays great. I also got great results with gut strings, as you can hear below. All work has been done by David Gage's shop since fall 2007.

The current fingerboard is very even but thin and when it needs to be replaned, it will probably be time for a new fingerboard. The Goetz endpin is about a year old and holding up fine.
This has been my main bass since before moving to New York, and got me through jazz grad school and a ton of gigs (Johnny O'Neal, Matt Wilson, Wycliffe Gordon, Ted Nash...many more). I'm selling it because I bought Jason Sypher's Yankee bass late last year, and I don't play this one much any more, and I need the money, and the space in my apartment.
$12,000 [negotiable] includes a Realist from 2010 and a fairly worn grey mooradian deluxe cover. Conveniently located on the border of Chelsea and the West Village in Manhattan.
Here are a couple of records I played it on - sorry that it's streaming mp3, but if you buy the albums it'll be a better quality
