Romanian 3/4 flatback FS in Toronto
 

Three-quarter size upright for sale in Toronto, Canada. Made in 1996 in Romania. Solid carved spruce top, solid maple flat back, sides and neck. High quality ebony fittings throughout (fingerboard, nut, tailpiece, and saddle). The bridge is from Kolstein music, and features wood adjuster wheels. The strings are Kolstein Varicor, which work well for bowing and can also be played pizzicato. The bass had two small cracks that have been repaired (one on the rib, and one on the top). Pics of the repairs are available. It's ready for many years of problem-free playing. This bass is well set-up, has a great sound, and plays evenly in all registers. IMHO, a lot of bass for the money!

Comes with bow and bag. $2,500 or best offer. Will consider partial trades for project upright basses (plus cash on your end).
