| For Sale: Strunal 50/4 $1000 NYC area
For Sale is my Strunal 50/4 laminated upright bass. I have had the bass for 7 years and it has served me very well. I bought it used and I do not know the original owner. When I bought it there was a repair to the neck joint, but I have never had a single issue with it. I had it set up a couple years ago at Upton and the bass really feels great, sounds great, and is a breeze to play. I have played jazz and classical and it has functioned incredibly for both.
It has an upgraded sound post from Upton Bass, an upgraded endpin, upgraded tailpiece cable, comes with the quiver as shown (but NOT the realist pickup). Currently set up with Spiro G/D; Evah A; Garbo E. The Garbo can be switched out for an Evah E if you prefer.
I am located in New York City and prefer a local sale. For the price of this bass, it really plays and sounds amazing.
