I am selling one set of Cordes-Lambert handmade synthetic gut strings. Wonderful strings for bluegrass, rockabilly, and dixieland jazz.
The E is round wound, (wire wrapped) synthetic gut. The A,D, and G are plain synthetic gut, textured to resemble and sound very much like real gut strings (see link below).
E, A, and D were on my bass for one day, G for a few weeks. All strings in excellent condition and in original packaging.
Paid $130 for these new. Will sell for $110, shipped via 2 day priority mail. Payment accepted via paypal. http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f17/ne...n-47-a-740824/

Any chance you would be willing to sell just the E?

Eh it was worth a shot . I think that's my favorite E I've played and the rest of sets killer too!

What diameter is the "g" string?

If I owned a plywood bass these would be on it already. Great strings.

I really want these but I'm afraid I'll never find a backup set if I fall in love with them.

What set (model / name) are you selling? Deluxe, Gut-Twin, or Gut-Twin '47?
