FS: David Gage Sound Clip- never used!

Hello Talk Bassers

I'm selling a practically new David Gage SoundClip bass pickup. I bought it last year to use on a travel bass that I own, but it doesn't quite mount to the bridge correctly (it's a smaller bridge than a regular bass...). I'm finally getting around to posting it.

I'm asking $300 + shipping, which is a full $100 off the price. Here's a link to the pickup, in case you're not familiar with it:

Let me know if you're interested!

Hi grooooove!

I've never done a direct comparison, and I haven't even taken the one that I'm selling out of the house.

However a few years ago I had to borrow a SoundClip for a concert (long story...) and I actually liked it, which is the reason I later bought one for my travel bass. Back when I was using pickups (instead of miking, which is what I do now) I had the regular Gage pickup. When I used the SoundClip for that concert, I definitely thought that it sounded better to my recollection of the original Gage pickup, but that's definitely not a scientific comparison.

Sorry I can't be more helpful!

-Phil
