FS: Double Bass Text

Hey all - I've put the PDF of my textbook, "An Introduction to Double Bass Playing" on sale for just $5!

Check it out HERE.

"An Introduction to Double Bass Playing" is the culmination of over a decade of playing, teaching, studying, and practicing. It addresses many aspects of double bass playing and pedagogy including exercises, examples, and fingerings that teachers have used over the years but never written down. It's a great resource for teachers, students, education majors, music minors, parents and anyone interested in the double bass. It is a wonderful companion for studio classes and private lessons. The Double Bassist (now The Strad) says it is "...full of sound and useful advice."

I intended to purchase the pdf version via the linked site, but when the site linked to PayPal for payment, PayPal is adding $10 "shipping and handling" making the total $15. I was under the impression that the pdf was a download only.

You are correct - it should not charge shipping. I'm on my way home now and will work on it. In the meantime you can purchase it from http://www.lulu.com/tambroni

Sorry for the inconvenience!!!!

UPDATE*** Shipping issue is resolved!! No shipping will be charged (duh!) as everything is downloadable.

Is the multi media ipad version also $5.99 or is the $8.99 price correct?

The iPad pricing is $8.99. Sorry - that's harder to adjust with Apple.

Not a problem, $8.99 is not bad. Off to the store.

Pass it on to No Treble, I'm sure they'd appreciate it

I bought one thinking it would be a great primer to get my middle school bassists headed in the right direction at the beginning of the school year. After looking it over, it sure seems like you've distilled all the info anyone might need to start off or even just brush up on some basic techniques in an easy to follow sort of way. Can I send you $5 for each one I print off as kids show up? If history is any indication, I would be purchasing 4 - 7 each year.
