LaBella gut set, $150 shipped
 

These came on the flatback I picked up over the summer. I'm not likely to use them, so maybe somebody interested in the gut experience can use them.

They are probably the 980 set -- plain D&G, silver wound E&A. The plain strings are in very nice shape, the wound strings have seperations in the pegbox area. I did not hear any rattling or other ugliness in the brief time I had them on the bass. All four ends are knotted.

New these go for $300ish when you can get them. How about $150 shipped wherever, PayPal or postal money order. Cash offers considered No trades, please.

i used a full La Bella set for a while and got a great old school sound. In my experience the La Bella plain D is actually pretty good b/c it's not too thick. i'd buy these if i had some cash.

Thanks for weighing in! They're nice strings I'd still be using if I hadn't had a set of Chordas laying around unused at the time I bought my flatback.
