The Evahs are mediums. Just a couple of weeks use on them.

Could you describe the sound&feel of the passiones and deluxes compared to. Say orig flexes, spiros, etc?
My experience with these newer strings is limited, but I am open to experiment.
Tnx

Hey Provbass,

sorry for the delay. The passiones are like butter, By far the easiest bowing string I've ever played on my bass. They are a bit darker sounding. From what I've noticed they either sound great on a bass or terrible. Overall I liked them alot.

Flexocor Deluxes are a bit more like original flexocor playability wise (maybe a little easier to bow). They are great! They're loud and capable of many tone colors.

I'm actually using a mix of passione starks (G, D) and Flexocor deluxe (A, extended E). Its a surprisingly good mix.

I hope this helps.

Are the Pirazzi regulars still available, and would you post to the uk?

The Evahs are currently spoken for awaiting payment.

musicmaxbezanso,
The Passione Starks have maybe 4-5 months of use. There should be a fair amount of life left in them.

Are you willing to let one of your extended e strings go by themselves?
