Hallo! I purchased my very first bass guitar a few months ago (a very nice Musicman Stingray) after being recruited to play bass for a cheesy bar band in the Seattle area. We've yet to get to the cheesy bar, but we're having fun, anyway.

I came here specifically looking for slap technique information, and low, there it was.

I shall now progress to the rest of this forum, and see what there is to see.

I also enjoy cheese, and prison movies.
