| 6 string bass: tuning to play guitar-sounding chords

Hello- i'm thinking about getting a six string bass- but really only so that i can play basic guitar chords with the higher strings (as opposed to having the skill requiring additional strings). I wanted to see if this is a good idea as i really have no idea about this. Any help is appreciated. THanks. |
